Hey fitness friends! 💪
I've been on a mission to find better ways to get my protein in, especially on those days when I just can't face another thick shake. After testing out a bunch of protein waters (yes, that's a thing!), I wanted to share my honest thoughts on the ones that stood out.
Muscle Nation Protein Water + Collagen
What I loved:
Packs a serious protein punch (23.6g per serve!)
The collagen addition is great for my joints
Love that I can adjust how strong it tastes
Perfect for hot days after the gym
What wasn't great:
Only comes in fruit flavors (RIP chocolate dreams)
Some flavors could be more intense
Takes some experimenting to get the right water ratio
Nexus Super Protein Collagen + Astragin
What I loved:
Super easy on my stomach
Absorbs really quickly
No dairy = no bloating
What could be better:
Would love more flavor options
Missing some whey protein benefits
Price point is a bit high
Body Science x Chupa Chups Protein Water
What I loved:
Tastes like my childhood favorites!
Solid 20g protein per serve
Great for sweet tooth cravings without the guilt
What wasn't perfect:
Might be too sweet for some people
Not for anyone wanting "serious" flavors
The sweetness can be overwhelming after workouts
ATP Science NoWay Protein Water
What I loved:
Clean ingredients list
That Old Fashioned Lemonade flavor! 😍
Great for sensitive stomachs
What could improve:
It's definitely on the pricier side
Less protein than regular shakes
Limited availability in stores
FitFrenzy Protein Water H2O + Collagen
What I loved:
BCAAs + collagen is a winning combo
Flavors are on point
Doesn't feel like you're drinking protein
Not so great:
Hard to find in local stores
The bottle isn't gym-bag friendly
Takes up more space than powder
Quick tip from my experience: These are perfect for summer or when you're tired of heavy shakes. They're not meant to completely replace your protein powder - think of them more as a refreshing alternative!
Has anyone else tried these? Would love to hear your favorite flavors or if you've found other brands worth checking out! Drop your thoughts below 👇
Edit: Thanks for all the questions in the DMs! Yes, these are all available in Australia, and most ship nationwide. 🦘
